I`ve posted from Picasa last Sunday but the post just didn`t show up! i had some heavy issues with zippers in my €pouches. I was so unsatisfied with the way they came out, so pissed off...the rest of the Sunday was noncrafty! And i`ve decided to rather use velcro tape instead of zippers, well, actually i don`t want to sew pouches any more, i`m going back to sewing handbags!
Back side of "ugly zipper thing" €pouch...
I love to recycle:
-white fabric used to be a bag for 1kg of bioenergised salt (mmm, i love salt)
-red zipper came from a pair of red jeans
-brown stripe was a part of shrunken pullover
...and the front side of "ugly zipper thing" € pouch. I got taken a bit too far embroidering the red pattern, just couldn`t stop...
Meet Maca, little psycho kitty granny in her new Kitty pi! Man, i can`t knit (i can, but counting the loops freaks me out...) but i liked the idea so much i just had to make one somehow! So here i go, recycling again! I used an old woolly jumper, cut it, sew it together, crocheted a trim and of course added some red stitches. I haven`t had a chance to wash it at 90°C yet, so it`s kind of big enough for two cats now (so sad, this will never happen as they never sleep together) I bet it`ll be the right size for Maca after the washing, and hopefully a bit sturdier too. Oh and did i mention she loves the Kitty pi, and Erik would love to have one too! Unfortunately i had thrown all the old (and woolly!) pullovers to garbage last month! What a pity! There must be one hiding somewhere in the house! Soft and woolly and lonely and ready to become a kitty pi...
