I`ve spent last 2 days embroidering this little jeans bag and yesterday evening finally finished it. It was sent straight to Aida as a birthday present. hope she likes it! The birdie pattern was taken from the Embrioderers Guild Projects, in case if anybody wants to make it. I did it with completely different stiches(chain ones mostely) as they suggest, perheaps that`s why it took me so much time to finish it!
Oh, it`s made from old jeans trousers of mine, a lot of memories came up while i was embroidering it...the shop where i bought `em is gone now...so much has changed in our town... The paint stains above the knee (not on the bag) brought out memory of painting our little boat last spring. How enthusiastic we were, and how stressful it was for me to mix-mach and schedule all the paints we were supposed to apply, and how i love the spring at seaside and the seagulls and the sea...oh well, no seaside for me till next spring!
So here goes my fisrt hedgehog... thou my darling said it looks more like a bear...Some beads are so tiny that i can`t find a needle tiny enough to sew them!
Today is the day! I have to start my elaborate about car accident in my country. It`s a statistical analysis, no reading, just a little bit of writing and houres of calculating and the worst of it all - i have no idea how to write calculation formulas in word or excell. It`s gonna take me some time to figure it out, so no crafting today!
On Sunday i usually don`t feel like cooking! No traditional beef soup with noodles, beef with horse-radish, no toasted potatoes with onions and no green salad and even no dessert. Just a plain mushroom soup (Knorr) and a homemade pizza, a cup of Sencha tea for dessert...an easy sundae
